Given this fact, and the fact that the other five states that have had permitless carry for a few years have had no more issues than states requiring permits, one would think that people on the left would at least be a bit cautious in their comments. After all, isn't the left always talking about how reasonable and logical they are?

Why would you need a permit to walk around in public with a gun? Why should the government interfere in the rights of lunatics and felons to evade background checks?
Knowing some of the people here in the Boise area, and their shocking lack of brain activity, I'm decidedly more worried about being struck by a stray bullet without warning..
Yep, here in Idaho we are all much more stupid that the people in Vermont, Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming....... Of course the best places to get hit by a stray bullet are cities like Chicago and LA - the gun control capitals of America.

Of all the stupid things the government and governor of Idaho have done in the ten years I've lived here, this is the STUPIDEST. Now when some kid turns 21 he'll buy a gun, put it on under his shirt, and *then* go out and get drunk...
Here we have the argument that someone 21 years old cannot be trusted with a gun - oh, unless they are in the military. Of course, that same person could open carry at 18 and get a permit at 21 perior to this law and we don't see this happening.......
Idaho boycott .... Velcro shoes are too advanced for them .... so where do uncontrolled guns come from .... heres a future source the states around them should just start building a wall.
Again, the ignorance is unbelievable. What do carry rights have to do with background checks on purchases? Absolutely nothing, of course. Yet, again this guy thinks he is so superior.........as for that wall - you can definitely count Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada out. Too pro-2nd Amendment. In fact, you can probably count Oregon and Washington out too. Bummer that California lacks a border with Idaho..........
